SHIPPING INFORMATION

STANDARD SHIPPING: All shipments are shipped FOB from all locations. Piezo-Metrics d.b.a Micron Meters (“Micron Meters”) does not set or control carrier rates. We try to ship the most economical way, usually UPS, USPS or Federal Express Ground.
Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are shipped UPS 2nd Day, FedEx or USPS Priority.

On occasion we may use USPS to certain destinations, however we will not provide package tracking information on items using this carrier method.
Customers are responsible for all shipping, handling, customs, duties and destination charges.

When orders exceed UPS, USPS and FedEx Ground limits on size or weight we then ship Motor Freight or Common Carrier (PREPAID AND ADDED TO THE INVOICE).

FREIGHT POLICY: FREIGHT IS PREPAID AND ADDED TO CUSTOMER'S INVOICE ON ALL ORDERS, unless otherwise stated, to customers place of business anywhere in the contiguous United States, using routing of our choice. Any extra charge incurred for additional services, such as customer's carrier or special handling at the destination, must be paid by customer. If any item is back-ordered on an order qualifying for freight prepayment, that item will be shipped prepaid. Title and risk of loss pass to customer on delivery to the common carrier.

SHIPPING HAZARDOUS PRODUCTS: Products considered hazardous for shipping will require special packaging, handling, and additional shipping charges. For specific details and charges, call (770) 923-2522.

OSHA HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE PRODUCT INFORMATION: For your convenience, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are enclosed with all orders that require an MSDS under the Hazard Communication Standard (1910.1200).

The information and recommendations contained on the MSDS supplied by the manufacturer are considered to be accurate and reliable. Micron Meters, however, makes no warranty with respect to the accuracy or reliability of the information or the suitability of the recommendations. Micron Meters disclaims any and all liability to any user thereof.

Disclaimer:

Ownership of packages turned over to UPS, FedEx and/or USPS transfers to the buyer.
We are not responsible for lost, held, or damaged packages.
We are not responsible for mis-delivery errors via carrier, or incorrect shipping info. Shipping is a service you purchase from UPS, FedEx and/or USPS along with your order from us, so any shipping issues must be handled by UPS, FedEX  and/or USPS.
INSURANCE is available to add to any order and is recommended for any order you can't afford to lose.

In the case that your shipment is lost or damaged in transit.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO FILE THE CLAIM WITH UPS, FedEx and/or USPS.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PACKAGES DURING TRANSIT! WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPMENTS SENT TO FORWARDING SERVICES OR COMPANIES REGARDLESS OF SHIPPING SERVICE SELECTED, IF YOU PLACE AN ORDER AND YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS IS A FORWARDING ADDRESS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTACTING YOUR FORWARDING COMPANY OR SERVICE TO LOCATE YOUR SHIPMENT.
WE ARE ALSO NOT RESPONSIBLE TO WEATHER RELATED DAMAGE OR DELAYS! ONCE PACKAGE LEAVES OUR HANDS IT IS COMPLETELY OUT OF OUR CONTROL.
